The day has finally arrived where Lion’s ROAR Marketing can now be found at LionsROARMarketing.com! I had originally bought ROARMkting.com towards the end of last year since I was set on naming my start-up, ROAR Marketing. See previous post on why this created some problems and why today my start-up is called, Lion’s ROAR Marketing.
I was slightly hesitant to go ahead and purchases this domain, simply because I’m not sure it flows very easily. I tried to see if I could buy LRMarketing.com but that domain is not available and it costs $1,998.00 to purchase! Talk about Domain Real Estate.
Therefore, I finally decided on buying LionsROARMarketing.com from GoDaddy.com for $23.74. Hopefully by deciding to purchase the domain now instead of later, I can avoid anyone else claiming this domain.
A few features that I bought to equip my domain were the following:
- Private Registration Services: Keeps your personal information private, protecting you from spam, scams and worse.
- Business Registration: Provides a customized listing in the Whois database for your domain name which your business name, logo, up to four Web links, phone number, address, operating hours, directions to your store
- Certified Domain:Provides visible evidence (in the form of the Domain Origination Certified seal) that a domain has been validated and its registrant’s credentials have been verified.
This was included in the total of $23.74 and they are definitely worth the extra costs. Again, better safe than sorry. Once I bought the domain, it was easy to forward LionsROARMarketing.com to redirect to ROARMkting.com. If anyone is buying a domain, I strongly recommend going with GoDaddy.com since their prices and packages are fairly well priced and they make forwarding from multiple domains extremely easy to do.
